Founded in 2017 by Ken Rao, the Taiwanese label Professor. E is known for its enigmatic aesthetic outlook and mysterious dark aura incarnated by masked figures in its collections. Professor. E's creative blending of different fabrics combined with deconstructed patchwork act as the basis for its contemporary, yet timeless designs. Professor. E draws inspiration from his observations of life, witnessing the changes that arise from the clash of different cultures - old and new, East and West, antique and modern. From the heavy use of cotton and hemp, using different fabric stitching, patching, designs without edge trimming, deconstruction are all Professor. E's signature elements creating classic immortal designs that can be viewed historically. Within the collection, "Forgotten Materials" pieces are created from rare fabrics collected from all over the world and to create contemporary silhouettes in order to tell the stories behind them.
