Gear up for adventure in this do-anything, go-anywhere hiker. Starting from the ground up, the new sustainably crafted Anacapa has been built to take a pounding and keep you moving, mile after mile and peak to peak.
Constructed with Nubuck leather and recycled materials, the upper delivers high durability and exceptional support against treacherous trails with an Achilles-cradling heel tab that allows great ankle stability without causing discomfort to the Achilles. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A traditional lace system ensures that stability is no problem, locking in the feet allowing you to move confidently with every step.
Completing the Hoka Anacapa Walking Shoe is a Vibram Megagrip outsole. The high-performance rubber compound offers unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain with ease whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity providing unprecedented grip hike after hike, and trail after trail. Multi-directional 5mm lugs offer supreme grip on a variety of technical terrain keeping you stable and confident when navigating steep ascents and descents, or uneven ground. Ideal for long hikes or that extra bit of cushioning when out on the trail, the Hoka Anacapa offer exceptional cushioning and stability no matter where your adventure takes you. Lastly, the slightly extended heel geometry allows for even smoother heel-to-toe transitions and added traction on steep descents.
