Professor e FM Repaired Cyclist Jacket Dark Navy. Inspired by the 1930s French Cyclist Jacket, this piece reinterprets a classic silhouette through a modern lens, refining its proportions for a contemporary fit. Body features handwoven cotton dyed with botanical dark navy, while sleeves are made from repurposed Chinese silk grain sacks, dyed in deep grey using plant-based dyes. Subtle tonal contrasts across the chest are elevated by an eclectic arrangement of irregular buttons, including botanical hand-dyed coconut buttons, custom-developed metal hardware, and fabric-covered buttons made from deadstock textiles.
