The inspiration for kar's fifth-anniversary "Formless" collection, is drawn from the Diamond Sutra: "All that has form is illusory." In Buddhist philosophy, “Formless” signifies the dissolution of attachment, free as flowing water, unconfined by shape, moving with natural ease. Thus, this collection sheds rigid structure, expressing itself through unrestrained, organic silhouettes that mirror the spontaneous flow of human emotion.

For its material, we introduced a single layer of resin-infused fibre for the first time, creating an ethereal translucence as light passes through. The deeply serene “Moss Brown” tone is the result of a year of refinement, like moss veiling the earth, a quiet shade breathing with life from the silent soil.

Cherishing and preserving every trace of the hand. These visible “imperfections” are what make each piece unique. When the mind does not cling to a preconceived notion of “perfection,” then there is no such thing as imperfection.
