Founded in 2010 by childhood friends Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty, Song for the Mute is all about choosing materials carefully. The duo meticulously develops, samples, and selects fabrics in collaboration with artisanal Italian and Japanese mills before patterning their intimate, story-driven collections as seen with the Puffer Jacket.

Introduced in 24.2 ‘Teardrop’, the Unisex Puffer Jacket is a midweight, duck down–filled cropped jacket. Featuring a silver front zip closure with additional button-and-tab fastening at the neckline, it’s finished with elasticated cuffs and hem to seal in warmth. Designed for everyday functionality with a distinct silhouette, this jacket balances volume with structure, making it ideal for layering or wearing as a statement outer piece.
