Arpa Studios

Arpa Studios is a contemporary niche fragrance house offering avant-garde perfumes designed by independent perfumer Barnabé Fillion. Founded in 2020, the project explores scent as a spatial and emotional medium, where fragrance becomes an atmosphere rather than a fixed identity. Each composition is conceived as part of a wider sensory dialogue, shaped by memory, architecture, and the intangible rhythms of place. At UJNG, Arpa Studios sits within a curated selection of artisanal perfume brands who challenge the traditional structures of luxury niche fragrance. The collection reflects a shared interest in process, materiality, and quiet experimentation, where fragrance is approached with the same intention as art or design. Rather than following familiar olfactory categories, Arpa Studios presents evolving “sequences”, works that unfold gradually on the skin. These scents are immersive, abstract, and deeply personal, inviting the wearer to interpret rather than simply consume. Subtle shifts in texture and tone create compositions that feel fluid, alive, and intentionally unresolved. The physical objects themselves extend this philosophy. Each bottle is hand-crafted, embracing irregularity and individuality. No two are identical, echoing the transient nature of scent and the uniqueness of personal experience.
