In 2012, anthropologist Sergio Eusebi and designer Livio Graziottin established the eyewear company Kuboraum in Berlin. Based out of an old Post Office somewhere along the former border of East and West Germany in Berlin, Kuboraum is the direct translation for "cubic room". Kuboraum's team dream up forward-thinking eyewear that fuses classical elegance with modernist twists and turns. The brand designs masks that accentuate the personality of those who wear them. The inventive frames, which are “Dreamed in Berlin and handmade in Italy”, combine avant-garde designs, textured detailing, and distinctive finishes with an experimental attitude and artisanal tradition. The company balances its meticulous procedures with an eco-friendly mindset by planting trees to offset its greenhouse gas emissions.
